the brink of 011

There are a lot of reasons why the end of the year signifies new beginnings. For me however, it signifies angstful planning. The job that I was recently promoted to in October, has just notified me that I have eleven days left of employment before the position is wiped-out. So what does this mean? I don't have much time to plan my next move with the company. There are several new positions which have opened up in the last week and I am eligible to apply for all of them. The important thing for me to keep in mind here is that there is a goal in mind. I decided what that goal was a long time ago and almost can bearly make it out at this point. That all goes to say that there is a job for me and that is the one that I will pursue. I know that there is some concern over whether or not I will still remain to be gainfully employed in the new year but as cliché as that term has become, I expect to be able to extend my experience and usefulness into another year of work with my company. Heres to more responsibility, less debt, and liberty through conformity. Corporate America, I'm ready if you will have me (on my own terms).
